But for Michael Chasteen, the work has always been about more than equipment.
It's about people.
Since starting Media Solutions Company in 1988, Michael has spent his career working with organizations, building teams, solving problems, and helping make important moments happen.
Along the way, another part of his life has become just as important.
Serving others.
A Life Beyond the Business
Michael is also a pastor, teacher, and missionary.
He and his wife spend significant time in Cebu, Philippines, where they are involved in ministry and missions work with churches, Bible schools, children, young people, pastors, and local communities.
The work takes many forms—preaching and teaching, training ministry leaders, working with children and youth, supporting churches, and simply being present with people.
It's a very different environment from a large event production.
But Michael has found that the two worlds have something important in common: People matter.
Why Cebu?
Cebu has become a significant part of Michael and his wife's lives.
What began as an opportunity to serve has grown into long-term relationships with people and communities they care deeply about.
The work isn't about arriving with all the answers.
It's about building relationships, listening, teaching, encouraging, and serving wherever there is an opportunity to make a difference.
And many of those relationships continue long after the trip is over.
